Garam Masala is a staple of Indian cuisine. A powerful blend of hot, pungent, sweet and aromatic spices, Garam Masala creates a rich pleasing flavour suitable for main dishes and desserts alike.

After experimenting with many different amounts of ingredients, this is the variation I've settled on. The natural differences in the ingredients tends to make it taste slightly different each time.

If you don't have a spice blender you can also grind this all in a mortar and pestle. I did the first time. Then I bought a spice blender.

I find this tastes great on sliced apples as a snack.
