Splendidly smooth and delightfully rich. This pizza sauce recipe takes mere minutes to prepare.
I like nutmeg, but it can be a tricky spice. In small quantities it imparts a deep flavour. Yet, add too much and its astringent, somewhat soapy, flavour dominates all. If experimenting, increment only in small amounts. I’m sure a flexible palette could enjoy double the amount as given in this recipe.
As always, the chili is up to you. Use whichever flakes you have on hand and adjust to their intensity. This is easily substituted by chili powder, though I like the bit of inconsistency from the flakes.

11 g 2 teaspoonBalsamic Vinegar

- Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl.
- Stir the ingredients into a consistent sauce.
- Spread the sauce on your pizza dough.
